Queens Pride Parade Ride!

June has arrived and so has Pride Month!

We've had some great rides this year and now we're moving into Pride Month, DOB-C's favorite month of the year!

Join us on the first of our Pride Parade Rides this weekend as we ride in the Queens Pride Parade in Jackson Heights!
If you haven't made it out to an event yet, make sure you don't miss this one!
We're aiming big for the Pride Parades this year and want to have a lot of DOB-C represent!

Date: Sunday June 7th

Time: 11:30am -2pm

Location: Near the Roosevelt Street/Jackson Heights stop on the E/F/R/G subways lines
(a more concrete location will be sent out on thursday night)
No bike? NO PROBLEM!!
For our Pride Rides we need folks on foot to help hold our banner, hand out flyers and flair, and most importantly take pictures!

Suggested $5 donation to help cover the costs of registration fees.

Today at 2pm eastern standard time CA upheld Prop H8, the ban agaisnt gay marriage in the state of California.

Join us today, Tuesday May 26, as we gather outside of the Stonewall Inn to rally and protest this decision.

We'll be traveling along the water with a picnic to follow in Ft. Tryon Park.

In case of rain we will be going to Leisure Time Bowl in Port Authority at 2pm.

Goodmorning Technology melds the handlebar and basket in a unified piece of hardware.



Idea: Conceptually pretty good.

Practice: Not sure it can actually support my keg...I mean... groceries without rack-like reinforcements below. And turning would definitely be an issue.
